1. What is a Transaction Coordinator?
A transaction coordinator, or TC, is a real estate professional who assists the licensee during the transaction by handling administrative responsibilities. They track tasks, manage deadlines, and order services. A TC allows you to focus on growing your business rather than monitoring transactions.
2. Why hire a Transaction Coordinator?
Hiring a TC helps you to get your time back. A TC will ensure no details slip through the cracks in your transaction. Not only do they organize, review for completion, and monitor your contracts, but they also communicate with all parties by email, ensuring your clients are taken care of.
3. Why should I use Hometown Virtual Solutions instead of hiring my own assistant?
HVS is an independent, on-demand service that doesn’t cut into your operating budget. When you have a contract, we’re here to help. When you don’t have a contract, you’re not paying for an idle resource.
4. How will I know what is happening with my transaction?
We provide a weekly transaction update meeting via Zoom, Google Meet, or via email if you prefer. You will be included in all correspondence regarding your transactions.
5. Are my files kept confidential?
Yes! We adhere to a strict confidentiality agreement.
6. What are the hours of operations?
HVS responds to emails and signings M-F from 8-5 (EST). If you need something outside of those hours you can text your TC and they will be happy to help as soon as possible.
7. What if my deal falls through?
We understand that deals sometimes fall through. Our business is committed to you and your success. If a deal falls through, we "reserve the right to charge a $50 fee," if the transaction is canceled after the inspection contingency phase. If you incur a charge and the property goes back under contract shortly thereafter, you will receive credit for prior charge.
8. Can you help with a transaction already started?
Although we can step in at any time if necessary, in order to give you the best experience and help ensure compliance we prefer to receive the contract within 24 hours of acceptance.
9. Will I be copied on all correspondences?
Yes, we strongly adhere to this rule. You will be copied on every single correspondence we have with your clients and any other party to the transaction.
10. Will you have contact with my clients?
Yes, with your permission in advance, we will be communicating with your clients throughout the transaction with you included at all times.
11. What are your fees?
All of our services are offered a la carte based on your needs. You can hire us to assist you with all of your needs, or only a few. Our current fees are updated regularly on our website under "Pricing".
